Last year, two local residents, wardens of Woodston Ponds, found that our pond on Botolph Green had an invasive Australian weed choking it
The City Council, which owns the pond, took the necessary action to eradicate the weed.
Our three intrepid local councillors were spotted early one morning just after Christmas looking into the pond.

Work has started on giving the pond a new lease of life
A group of local volunteers rolled up their sleeves, pulled on their wellies and set about clearing weeds and rubbish from the pond.
It already looks much better and our thanks to them for all their hard work.
